I live with my husband David (my biggest fan, he’ll tell you) and I’m the proud mother of Jacquelyn, an amazing digital artist. Above all, I’m a daily writing addict. I’m not happy until I’ve worked on a manuscript or written creatively.

Professional goals and motherhood took priority over honoring my creative self until the pandemic struck, and I resumed writing Backroads of the Heart. I added lyrics from songs I’ve written, blending songwriting into the work.

I’m a member of numerous writing organizations, including the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, and I serve as Membership Chair for the Women’s National Book Association Nashville Chapter. I enjoy attending in-person conferences such as the Southern Festival of Books, WriterFest Nashville, and virtual writing workshops by industry experts.

After working closely with a developmental editor and writing coach, and using feedback from numerous beta readers (test readers), the manuscript for Backroads of the Heart was completed. I look forward to sharing it with you.
